Wayne County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) is a 501(c)(6) not for profit business organization. The Chamber was formed in the early 1980's by a small group of merchants, including former Waynesboro Mayor Lloyd Howell. Mayor Howell is no longer with us but his vision lives on. Our organization is dedicated to enhancing and promoting business and industry in the Wayne County area by using all available resources to provide service, guidance and support for all our members. Wayne County is located in the U.S. state of Tennessee. According to the 2010 Census, the county population was 17,021. Its county seat is Waynesboro. Wayne County is named after Revolutionary War Hero General "Mad" Anthony Wayne.

Tour De Wayne

Wayne County, Tennessee hosts the Tour de Wayne annually, which offers riders routes through Wayne county. Routes range from five (5) miles to one-hundred (100) miles and are suitable for riders of every experience level.
