2012 Events and Festivals
Three new Civil War markers will be installed in Waynesboro and Collinwood to accompany the two along Main Street in Clifton. Make plans to tour Wayne County soon and learn of its rich history and role in the War Between The States.
Join us as we help celebrate! Chamber will host ribbon cutting at 9 am. Located in the E.W. James Supermarket parking lot across from McDonald's in Waynesboro.
10am to 2pm Learn about the chamber’s role in
tourism and business development and how you can become more
involved in your own community. Room 301 of the Wayne County
Courthouse in Waynesboro.
Tickets on sale now for this year’s performance
of the Waynesboro Business Association’s “Yup” dinner theatre at
Jeanette’s Food and Entertainment on the square in Waynesboro.
Guests are welcomed to come dressed in their favorite Western gear!

April 14 Health Fair hosted by Wayne Medical Center 8 am to noon at the National Guard Armory in Waynesboro. Many FREE health screenings available to the public including blood pressure checks, eye exams, oxygen saturation, pulmonary function testing and more! Activities for the children, too! admission, donations always appreciated! May 31- June 4 The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is proud and honored to host The Moving Wall in 2012. This extraordinary piece of Americana will rest along the banks of the Tennessee River in Historic Clifton, Tennessee. Visit www.themovingwall.org for more information about The Moving Wall, the half -size traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Open to the public 24 hours a day from Thursday evening through Monday morning. Ceremony details coming soon.

June 9 9th Annual Tour de Wayne Bicycle Ride

through rural Wayne County, including
Natchez Trace Parkway, Buffalo River and the Tennessee riverfront. Century, metric
century, half metric and family fun rides. Sag support and rest stops on
all routes. $25 Rider fee includes souvenir t-shirt. Proceeds sponsor future chamber

May 11th Annual Singing on the Farm Enjoy the greatest gospel music festival around! Marvin Morrow's 25 acre farm just off the Natchez Trace Pkwy mile marker 349.5 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee. May 7th Annual Benefit Trail Ride Memorial Day Weekend trail ride sponsored by Waynesboro Rotary Club to benefit Buffalo River Services for their aid and support of the physically and mentally challenged. For more information, please call 931-722-9170.
