looking for friendly faces to meet and greet visitors from all around

The
Wayne County 4-H Program is seeking volunteers who want to make a
difference in the lives of children. Volunteers are needed to meet with
4th and 5th grade 4-H clubs in Clifton, Collinwood, and Waynesboro. This
is a great way to become involved with the local schools, and to connect
with some wonderful children!
The Wayne County Health Department is
compiling a list of community volunteers who could be contacted to assist
in providing emergency response in the event of a post smallpox event. You
will be asked to complete a Mass Clinic Volunteer Form. Phone the Health
Department at (931) 722-3292 for more information. Senior Citizens has a need for volunteers to deliver meals to elderly Wayne County Residents. Route will take as little as 30 or 40 minutes out of your day. A wonderful opportunity to meet new people and serve members of your community. Phone Martha Beckham at Senior Citizens, 931- 722-3514.
TENNESSEE QUALITY HOSPICE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS Tennessee Quality Hospice is looking for volunteers to help hospice patients. Volunteers are needed to visit with patients and families, sit with patients to allow family members time to run errands, or to run errands and/or do yard or house work for the patients.
