Emergency Help Center
The Center has moved to 105 Hassell Street, Waynesboro.
Open Mon, Tue, Wed and Friday 9 a.m. to noon. Phone 722-7353.
Free Developmental Screening
For children ages 1-3 in your home or at the Health
Department. Screenings take about 15 minutes. Phone 722-7122 and
leave a message.
Classes for Divorcing Parents
Offered through the Extension Office. Parenting
Apart: Effective Co-Parenting helps parents understand the impact of divorce
on their children, and ways to help their children through the process.

Dental Services
for children and teens through age 20 who don't have private insurance now
available through the Lewis County Health Department on the 2nd and 4th
Thurdays of the month. Phone 931 796-2204.
Limited primary care
for uninsured available at Lawrence County Health Department,
part of Governor's Safety Net. Resources for chronic problems, some
medications (non-narcotic only) available on sliding scale. Phone 931
762-9406.
Friends and Families of Suicides
Meets first Thursday each month, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Maury
Regional Dining Room 2 on the ground floor, Columbia. Free.
